Turquoise and rock crystal vinaigrette

A superior and singular example of a 19th century vinaigrette, circa 1830. It is 18 carat gold and of ovoid shape. The vinaigrette is made of natural rock crystal and is in an 18 carat gold cage studded with Persian turquoise. It opens up to reveal a pierced gold vinaigrette compartment within. The pendant measures 1 and 1/4 inches by 3/4 of an inch. Very fine quality, solid and immaculate.
