Portuguese Chrysoberyl Earrings

Very fine quality chrysoberyl and silver pendant earrings, circa 1800. Bow-knots link navette shaped tops and elongated articulated drops which enclose tiers of gems graduated in size. The earrings are 3 and 1/4 inches long and 2/3 of an inch wide across the pendant drops. Very vibrant chrysoberyl, immaculate condition. For similar, see Scarisbrick’s Jewels of Portugal.
