Blush pink enamel urn ring
A 15 carat gold Georgian mourning ring, circa 1820. The obverse depicts an enamel urn within a surround of blush pink guilloche enamel and the reverse contains a lock of hair under crystal. The ring with trifurcated shank swivels so it can be worn with either side on display. I have not seen a mourning ring with pink enamel before, I presume it was to commemorate the life of a young girl. The ring is size O [US 7] and immaculate.
