Pensée

Charming pansy pendant, circa 1840. It is high carat gold and set with amethysts, citrines and a central turquoise. The pansy flower [pensée] symbolised ‘think of the giver’. The pendant measures 1.5 inches by 3/4 of an inch and is immaculate.
