Memento mori slide

A Stuart crystal memento mori slide, circa 1680. The high carat gold slide encloses a compartment with a ground of woven brown hair, surmounted by an enamel skull and crossed bones device and gold initials AC, within a gold wirework surround. It is covered with table-cut rock crystal and the slide fittings are original. It measures 2/3 of an inch by 1/2 an inch and is original and immaculate.
