Georgian rose-cut diamond cluster ring
A sumptuous Georgian rose-cut diamond cluster ring, circa 1820 – 1830. The high carat gold pierced decorative shank supports a cluster head set with large foiled rose-cut diamonds, set silver. There are approximately five carats of diamonds in total. The ring is size O and 1/2 [US 7 and 1/4] and can be sized and the gem-set cluster head measures 3/4 of an inch by 3/4 of an inch. Very fine quality with the lovely steely hue of Georgian diamonds, which would have glimmered in candlelight.
