Georgian rock crystal earrings

Another pair of large and chunky Georgian natural rock crystal earrings circa 1820. They are silver set with colourless table-cut rock crystals in foiled and closed back settings. As they were originally Georgian buttons, the gold ear wires are later. The earrings measure 3/4 of an inch by 1/2 an inch and are immaculate, with the wonderful depth of refraction of rock crystal.
