Enamel and diamond starburst ring

A domed ring, circa 1830. The decoratively engraved high carat shank supports a head with a dome of royal blue enamel, surmounted by an old-cut diamond starburst. There is a locket compartment to reverse. The ring is size M [US 6] and the head of the ring measures 1 and 1/8 inches by 2/3 of an inch. Fine quality, substantial and immaculate.
