Portuguese chrysoberyl & amethyst pendant

A large Portuguese silver pendant, circa 1800 – 1820. It is set with a large central foiled amethyst of 30 carats within a surround of sea green chrysoberyl, all gems in foiled and closed back settings. The pendant measures 1 and 1/2 inches by 1 and 1/3 inches and is bright and immaculate.
