Beetle on a lily pad
A Neoclassical cornelian agate carved in three strata, circa 1820, reclaimed from an old piece of jewellery. It is incised with a beetle, associated with good luck and protection from evil. It is set to an ethically sourced 100% Australian 18 carat gold ring mount in the form of a lily pad. The ring is signed HPJ to interior. Ring size UK P [US 7 and 1/2]. These are custom made one off rings, no two are the same.
2100 Australian dollars
Thank you @colourwheel unicorn for giving Andrew this little beetle to repurpose into a ring.
