Ref  MM5  Diamond Swallows

Sweet diamond earrings, circa 1890, in the form of swallows. These birds were Victorian symbols of happiness and love. The single old-cut diamond tops suspend rose-cut diamond swallows with ruby eyes in gold and silver settings. The earrings are 1 and 1/3 inches long and the swallows measures one inch by 3/4 of an inch. Lovely quality and immaculate.
