Georgian crowned heart ring
A rose-cut diamond crowned heart betrothal ring, circa 1760 – 1780. The high carat gold Rococo decorative shank terminates in silver hands proffering two crowned hearts set with rose-cut diamonds in cut-down, foiled silver settings. The ring is size K and 1/2 [US 5 and 3/8], original and immaculate. For similar examples see Numbers 903 and 905 in the Alice and Louis Koch Collection.
