Georgian expandable eternity ring

Such an ingenious little eternity band, circa 1820. It is 18 carat gold and set fully round with turquoise and rubies surrounding a central amethyst, all gems in closed back settings. The inner band has an expanding mechanism so it will stretch to fit a finger from size J to size N [US 4 and 5/8 to US 6 and 1/2]. Fine quality, immaculate condition, very comfortable on the finger and such a clever design.
