Wild rose

Fine quality ring circa 1820 depicting a wild rose in rose-cut diamonds. The high carat gold shank with diamond detail on the shoulders supports a head set with a plaque of vivid foiled ruby red glass, the colour of the heart, surmounted by a diamond wild rose within a surround of rose-cut diamonds.  All diamonds are set silver. The ring is size L [US 5 and 1/2] and the head of the ring measures one inch by 3/4 of an inch. Vibrant and immaculate.
