Scorpion ring

A glass intaglio of a scorpion, circa 1820, reclaimed from an old piece of jewellery. The scorpion has long been considered a protective amulet and as a zodiac symbol it is associated with water. Set to a chunky ring crafted from ethically source 100% Australian brushed 18 carat white gold. Total ring weight 8.53 grams.
