Ref  JM4  Cut-steel Earrings

Pretty cut-steel earrings, circa 1840. Steel bow-ribbon tops suspend articulated pendant drops with cut-steel flowers set on a ground of vibrant foiled red glass. The earrings are mother-of-pearl backed and have gold wires. They are 1 and 2/3 inches long and 2/3 of an inch wide. Sparkling steel, immaculate condition.
