Ref  JM1   Georgian Sepia Miniature Ring

Gold love token ring, circa 1800. The engraved tapering shank supports a navette compartment containing a sepia miniature depicting a female in Georgian attire holding a dove, as its partner dove swoops down. Doves are the symbolic birds of Venus. The miniature is covered by a domed crystal. The ring is size I and 1/2 [US 4 and 1/2] and can be sized, and the head of the ring measures 1 and 1/8 inches by 2/3 of an inch.  Immaculate condition.
